On Oct 29th 2019, Yanchang Petroleum Yu-Shen Company 500kt/a coal-base ethanol project received the grant from Shaanxi Province Department of Ecology & Environment after passing the audit on project environment impact report.
Located in south section of Qingshui Industrial Park, Yu-Shen Industry Concentrated Zone, Yulin City of Shaanxi Province, the project is a CNY6.42bn investment including CNY516mn or 8.03% of the total on environment expenses. Scope of construction shall cover coal gasification, reforming, cleaning, gas separation, methanol synthesis, 500kt/a ethanol complex (DME, methyl acetate and ethanol units), 7500Nm3/h ASU and accessory utility facilities.
