On Mar 10th 2020, Henan Xinxing Chemical Material Co Ltd displayed the company’s methanol downstream processing project environment impact assessment report on line for first publicity.
The project, an investment of CNY2bn, is situated in Eastern Section of Qinglong Road, Xinxiang Economy & Hi-Tech Industry Concentrated Zone, Henan Province. Construction size and scope of the project are 200kt/a formaldehyde, 50kt/a amino-resin, and 40kt/a formyl amides. Final capacity shall be furnished in two phases, phase I 200kt/a formaldehyde + 10kt/a amino resin, and phase II 40kt/a amino resin + 40kt/a formyl amides. Process route of the project is to Fe-Mo catalysis in high purity formaldehyde production, which is then formylated and esterified to make amino resin, and finally to prepare formyl amides through ammoniation.
