Mar 29, 2017, Cangzhou Mingzhu Plastics Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to briefly as Cangzhou Mingzhu) released 2016 Annual Report. In 2016, Cangzhou Mingzhu realized operation revenue CNY 2.765bn, year on year increase 27.10%; realized net profit CNY 487M, year on year increase 127.05%.
In the report period, Cangzhou Mingzhu LIB separator sales volume was 1436.21t (109.861Mm2), year on year increase 141.29%; LIB separator operation revenue was CNY 377M, year on year increase 119.34%. ASIACHEM calculates that, in 2015, selling price of LIB separator of the company was CNY 289.12/kg; in 2016, selling price of LIB separator of the company was CNY 262.82/kg (CNY 3.44/m2).
In the report period, Cangzhou Mingzhu LIB separator production volume was 1532.17t, year on year increase 102.73%; LIB separator operation cost was CNY 137M, year on year increase 149.72%. ASIACHEM calculates that, in 2015, cost of LIB separator of the company was CNY 72.79/kg; in 2016, cost of LIB separator of the company was CNY 89.66/kg (CNY 1.17/m2).
Production cost of LIB separator of the company is mainly constructed by direct material, direct labor, energy, manufacture expense and depreciation. Proportion of each cost of year 2016 and 2015 is shown in the pictures as below.
Cangzhou Mingzhu Annual Report states that, company ‘25Mm2/a Wet Process LIB Separator Project’ has construction and reached designed capacity in Jan 2016 as schedule. The company becomes minority suppliers in China which master dry process, wet process and ceramic coating production engineering and can realize mass production.
In Jan, 2016, surrounding by future development plan of the company and considering actual operation demands of the company, the company started non-public issue stock project. Additional project was successfully completed in Nov 2016. Funds raised in this project will be used in invest and construct ‘105Mm2/a Wet Process LIB Separator Project’. Currently, the project is under construction and implement.
News reported on Mar 30, 2017, Cangzhou Mingzhu released announcement that, first production line of ‘60Mm2/a Wet Process LIB Separator Project’, which investment was CNY 320M, and was invested and constructed by Dezhou Donghong Separator Technology Co. Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary of the company, finished trial production and now put into operation. Second production line also enters trial production stage.
Besides, public information on Mar 30, 2017 shows that, GU Chuanming, General Manager of Cangzhou Mingzhu Separator Department, stated that, to the beginning of 2017, Cangzhou Mingzhu will reach capacity of 150Mm2/a dry process separator, 200Mm2/a wet process separator and 180Mm2/a coating separator.
