On Jun 29th, MIIT and NDRC et al in total six governmental authorities jointly published “Industrial Energy Efficiency Improving Action Plan”, proposing to, by 2025, reduce national unit industrial value-added energy consumption by 13.5% from the level of 2020.
The action plan proposed that, by 2025, unit industrial value added energy efficiency should obtain general improvement, with great increase of the efficiency in major fields including data center etc, significantly raised proportion of green low-carbon energy source use proportion, popular application of energy efficiency improving process/equipment, gradually perfected standard, service and supervision systems, to bring unit product energy efficiency in main industries including steel, PC and chemical, non-ferrous metallurgy, and building material etc up to international advanced level and cut down unit industrial value-added energy consumption in the industrial enterprises of above designated size by 13.5% comparing to the level of 2020.
