In Jul, Inner Mongolia Rongsheng Coal Chemical Co Ltd 5Mt/a CTL project (phase I 3Mt/a) environment impact evaluation data were placed online for the first time public awareness.
The project is a CNY55.30639bn investment, to furnish3Mt/a CTL capacity, with the construction scope including powdery coal gasification unit, pulverized coal HP gasification unit, cleaning unit, oil product synthesis unit, oil product processing unit, off-gas treatment unit, ASU unit 、, sulfur recovery unit, water electrolysis to H2 & carbon capture unit, as well as accessory utility/auxiliary facilities & OSBL systems, designed on 8000h annual operation basis.
Inner Mongolia Rongsheng Coal Chemical Co Ltd was set up on May 18th 2026 by Rongsheng Group as the “Rongsheng (Ordos) green coal chemical integration project” operating company to expedite the CNY160bn investment. Registration capital of the company, CNY12bn is shared by and between the shareholders of Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co Ltd (85%), Inner Mongolia Energy Group Coal Industry Co Ltd (5%), Ordos City State Assets Investment Holding Group Co Ltd (5%), and Junggar County Guoxing Energy Group Co Ltd (5%).
